We hand-crafted this swing from aspen logs for a client in Steamboat. Our favorite details were the scalloped back and the non-traditional frame.

We were commissioned to do a beast of a log-framed mirror made from aspen a few weeks back; this is how the project turned out: We plan on making a second to have for sale here at the shop.

We’ve had the thought for quite some time to make outdoor pillows – made from fabrics rugged enough to withstand some wear-and-tear, and comfy enough to snuggle up on the hammock with a good book. They’re hand-sewn by the carver’s wife with recycled materials: vintage coffee bags, burlap, scrap leather, flannel shirts and jean shirts. [...]
