Now over the holiday rush, we’ve been working furiously to produce inventory for the store, including benches. This is the first of many to come – a carved moose on one end, and Mark’s signature trees on the other. The entire time I was finishing this moose, all I kept thinking was Natasha from Rocky & Bullwinkle purring “moose and squirrel” in her throaty, heavily accented English. Next time I’m going to have Mark carve a small squirrel in the trees. The bench measures 50″ tall, 80″ wide, and 25″ deep, and breaks down into four pieces (the back, the seat, and the two end carvings) for transport.
